Gabriela and Seth met at Dartmouth College in the early spring of 2019. They continued to hang out as the semester was winding down towards summer. Gabriela asked Seth to come visit her at her home in Jacksonville, FL that summer of 2019. After a brief interrogation from the Fasanelli immediate and extended family, Seth quickly became a fan favorite. Gabriela had to wait until the Fall of 2019 to get the same interrogation treatment from the Simmer family at a football game in Hanover. Gabriela quickly passed that test and fell in great with the Simmer family.

Gabriela and Seth’s relationship held strong through their time at Dartmouth and continued to thrive through Seth’s time in grad school, and then Gabriela’s time as well. Seth moved back to Atlanta to start a new job, and Gabriela moved back to Jacksonville. In late 2024, Gabriela took a leap of faith and moved in with Seth in a new house outside of Atlanta. It did not take long before Seth gathered the courage to ask Gabriela to marry him on June 6th, 2025 in the front yard of their home. Their 14 week old puppy, Ivy, was a key player in the proposal.

We are both so excited to take this next step in our lives by joining hands in marriage. We can’t wait to celebrate with everyone in June!
